It seems like in the past couple weeks, the wysywig editor doesn't function properly in Chrome. Clicking bold or italics no longer functions if I double click on words to highlight them. If I click and drag over letters it still appears to function sometimes, but not always.
Anyone else experiencing this on the latest Google Chrome build on PC?

Yes. Also having problems selecting text and deleting the selected block -- all in the latest build of Chrome (running on a Mac). Have duplicated this across multiple macs.

Yup, we're seeing this too.
Select a bit of text, and the Bold & Italic button will not do anything to the formatting of that text. In Safari, those buttons will toggle the Bold or Italic of the selected text.
Pressing the Bold or Italic button and then typing does produce Bold or Italic text. So not completely broken, but a good portion of it is.

Glad to see I'm not alone. Guess I'll use a different browser for now or just add the codes via HTML instead. Thanks!

I have also had the same problem... as has a client of mine whose site I put on here (or at least started it here anyway). At the very least, her fiance knows how to code, so he can go in and fix it in the HTML view... but I've found that the code view doesn't always work either.

FWIW you can select chunks of text, and then paste something else in place. I just did this on a new site I'm working on (waiting on the group members to log in to the CMS and add their biographies... so I just put a small line in there instead of multiple paragraphs of placeholder text). I do wish this was completely fixed, though... because I don't like clients logging in and having problems... looks unprofessional.
